We wake up at 8 PM. We leave the camp at 11 PM. The temperature has fallen to -10 °C. The first three hours are wonderful. We ski in front of a sky with all the red colours variations, something that only french or spanish poetry could describe. How to explain the musical waves of our mind harmony with a natural phenomenon that tends to the unreal platonic idea of Beauty. The sun disappears only 2 to 3 hours and the sunrise immediately follows the sunset. That's why you have something like a beautiful sunrise or sunset four hours long. As the sun rises the temperature rises too and a light fog sometimes appears.

We ski 8 periods of 65 minutes and we progress of 25.5 km. From now on we have to progress at least 25 km a day if we want to succeed in our crossing. We will not stop before we do it. While Manu and Franck pitch the camp, Alex decide to try his 5 m2 kite. But the wind is too high and he has a bad fall at the first takeoff. The wind blows hard all the night. But our snow walls are now strong enough to protect us.
